Marawi City in Lanao del Sur is now on lockdown after suspected members of Maute terrorist group raised the ISIS flag and took over the Amai Pakpak Medical Center, a government-owned hospital in the city Tuesday afternoon.

In a report by Philstar.com, the Maute group clashed with Army units under the 103rd Brigade stationed near Mindanao State University in Marawi City. Accordingly, sporadic gunfire and explosions are heard as of this time.
